October 22-28, 2017, Jeju Island, Korea

October 23-25       Pre-symposium field excursion (Cretaceous non-marine

sedimentary deposits in the western coast and Gyeongsang

Basin in the southern coast  of Korean Peninsula); Moving to Jeju Island

October 26-27            Fifth International Symposium (Opening ceremony, scientific

sessions, welcome dinner, business meeting) at Jeju International

Convention Center (ICC) in Juju Island, South Korea

 

Pre-symposium Field Excursion: 

"Cretaceous non-marine sedimentary deposits in the western coast and Gyeongsang Basin in the southern coast of Korean Peninsula"

    Sunday, October 22, 2017 – Arrival (Incheon) of participants.

    Monday, October 23, 2017 – leaving Incheon for field trip to Cretaceous Gyukpo Basin in

the western coast of Korean Peninsula. Stay in Mokpo.

    Tuesday, October 24, 2017 – visiting Cretaceous dinosaur footprints and dinosaur

museum in Haenam and coastal outcrops of Cretaceous Gyeongsang Basin

in the southern coast near Goseong. Stay in Busan.

    Wednesday, October 25, 2017 – visiting the Cretaceous volcaniclastic outcrops near

Songdo, Busan, moving to Gimhae Airport in Busan, and leaving for

Jeju Island.

  

Symposium Schedule

    Thursday, October 26, 2017 – Opening ceremony, scientific sessions, welcome dinner.

    Friday, October 27, 2017 – One day Jeju Island Tour for all participants, business

meeting. Farewell Party
