Two proposals, IGCP 630 and 632 under the theme “Global Change and the Evolution of Life: Evidence from the geological record” were newly accepted this year.  Both are concerned with the Mesozoic.  Especially, IGCP632 “Continental Crises of the Jurassic” was proposed by Prof. Jingeng Sha, Nanjing Institute of Geology and Palaeontology, China, also a member of our IGCP608.  As a sister IGCP project, we will work in close cooperation with IGCP632.

Their first meeting will be held during IPC4 “4th International Palaeontological Congress” at Mendoza, Argentina (28 Sept.-3 Oct., 2014)
